Dr. Andrew Watley
Dr. Andrew Watley is a wellness coach, speaker, and consultant with a background that uniquely blends education, theology, and mental health. He began his professional career teaching religion in his hometown, New Orleans, where he spent nearly a decade helping others explore meaning, values, and the deeper “why” behind their decisions. That early work laid the foundation for his approach to wellness, one rooted in reflection, self-awareness, and personal growth, beliefs that he brought to his private practice, Wellness Awaits, based in Tucson, AZ.
After years in the classroom, Dr. Drew transitioned into the mental health and wellness space, drawn by a desire to support people more directly in navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions. His work centers on helping individuals identify unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional resilience, and create healthier relationships with work and themselves.
Dr. Drew brings a thoughtful, down-to-earth style to his coaching and consulting, combining practical tools with authentic conversation. He is especially passionate about normalizing mental wellness in professional spaces and helping workplaces move beyond surface-level solutions toward more sustainable, human-centered approaches to well-being.
Dr. Drew is the co-host of the Workplace Wellness Matters M Podcast, where he and his co-host explore the intersection of mental health, workplace culture, and everyday life. Through speaking, consulting, and content creation, Dr. Drew’s mission is to help people succeed without sacrificing their mental or emotional health.
